Kirby finds an egg in Torkori's nest, which Kirby sleeps in, and the town wonders if he actually laid it. Kirby thinks of it as his own and takes care of it. Rick helps Kirby by teaching him a strategy a platypus taught him. King Dedede is of course responsible for putting the egg in the nest and has a plan to get rid of Kirby. Kirby becomes so attached to the baby Galbo that he doesn't want to hurt the big one that the King sends next.
The Galbo loves Kirby and loves eating even more.
